Call for Submissions

The Parliament Literary Journal welcomes original poetry, fiction, and visual art from writers and artists around the world. We are a gathering place for voices across all genres — where literature meets psychology.

How to Submit

All submissions are managed through Submittable, our online submission platform. Through Submittable, you can upload your work, track its status, and receive a response from our editorial team.

We read work from both emerging and established contributors. Whether you write poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, or create visual art, we want to see what moves you.

Our Mission

The Parliament aims to be a place for those who share a love of writing in all genres to gather, discuss, and inspire one another. Building its nest in Highland Park, New Jersey, the journal is a proud member of the Community of Literary Magazines and Presses (CLMP).

We have been honored to nominate contributors for the Pushcart Prize, and we remain committed to showcasing work that resonates with emotional depth and intellectual curiosity.
